Making my wedding bouquet

My wedding bouquet turned out just the way I wanted. I ended up using:

* very light pink roses
* white roses
* green hydrangea
* lemon leaf
* white lisianthus

I loved taking floral and landscaping classes at BYU, then working at a floral spot, and doing floral arrangements for friends and family.


I used 50-60 flowers in my bouquet. It turned out beautiful!


I wrapped the flowers in the same fabric as my dress (there were extras from hemming it). I loved how it shined with all the crystals and beading.

I loved the size of the bouquet, it ended up being huge.

Finally Blogging about the Wedding!

So we've been married over a month now! It seems so crazy, but we are so happy and are having fun putting our lives together. We have a cute apartment that I am decorating, we're both working, I love to cook, and are still in the midsts of getting presents.
My favorite is coming home to Chris after our work and not having to leave at night because now we're at the same place! The wedding was awesome, I loved seeing everything come together and loved the support from family and friends, especially those who traveled for us.

Our first picture as Mrs. and Mr. Pearson! Look how happy we look. We made a decision to get married in the temple years ago, way before we met, and it was so great seeing our dreams come true.

Yeah I love these ones by the fountain. We saw them shoot up and ran over to make sure we got some with it.

Wedding Present Ideas

So throughout this whole wedding process I've discovered some good wedding gift ideas that I can pick from and use in the future. Some of these I wouldn't have thought about but could always come in handy after being married and these gift cards would never be wasted.
Think of some others too I could add:

- gas giftcard if they have a car
- Home Depot gift card because something can always be updated or fixed
- stamps and thank you notes, maybe for like a bridal shower or something
- maybe gift cards to places to eat
- Walmart gift cards
- Costco whatever (membership or gift card)

BYU Football, I will always be a fan

Today started off BYU 2010 Football. I've missed it, I used to have an internship last year for Athletic Marketing and used to be on the field which was SWEET! I would help market in different ways with doing tailgating things, help with promotions during the game, prepare the loges etc. Being on the field was the best, Cosmo was there along with some of the famous football people who would visit.
BYU won today!!! It was so much fun seeing everyone in their BYU shirt everywhere I went. Even though I'm graduated, still a fan. BYU has shaped me completely in who I am today because of the goals and hard work I put in coming here, and then attending the University and learning from the best about how I can live my life and be a better person especially with the Savior as my foundation. Even though I might be considered a Zoobie, I love BYU because of the way it has shaped my life for the better. I will always be a fan

Bridal Survival Kit

Here's my cute shoes. Yes they might kill me by the end of the day, but at least I will be somewhat normal height. I can't believe it's coming!

Things are falling into place and good news... I haven't been stressed yet. My sister is in town too so we've been going to the gym and running a lot which has been awesome.

I have only 25 things left to do on theknot.com which still sounds like a lot but I'm good. The cutest thing I'm putting together is a "Bridal Survival Kit" which will have essentials for that day:

Inspiration for the wedding Colors: Utah Jazz

Before we were engaged we were watching the Jazz and it dawned upon me... these are my wedding colors.

I saw the NAVY...

... the silver...

... and the beautiful sky blue and I knew I wanted these for my colors.


Good work they look great together. I'm excited to be using them and I think the colors are elegant together and are me!
