February 2012

A lot happened in February. I can't believe it has gone by so fast! We had some fun times this month:

Here we are in SLC to celebrate Alexa's Bday. We are in a decorating store and saw this poster that had both Pearson Rd. and Hubbard St. It was made for us (except it was like $300).

Here we are relaxing in some massage chairs.

Valentine's Day! So I didn't write this in the snow on Valentine's Day but the week of. I had Chris look out our window and here was a cute sign for him.

For Valentine's we had gifts, Chris surprised me with flowers, and we went out to dinner. I love you Chris! It was a fun day.

Jazz Game! I gave Chris Jazz tickets for the Jazz-Spurs game. We had a great time. We are really high up, but we were there and had a blast going to the game.

Things to look forward to in March!!!! I'll be 24, we have two trips coming up, our Seven Peaks combined passes start then, and some cute shoes are coming in the mail!!!!

Sunday Thoughts: Knowing Christ

Today I taught Relief Society about having a testimony of Jesus Christ. One of the points I made was that we need to know Christ in order to be like Him. How can we be Christlike or follow Christ's example if we don't know what He was like? We have the scriptures, the opportunity to go to church every week, words from our prophets, testimonies etc for us to learn the stories of the Savior's examples and the characteristics He possesses. When we know how He was compassionate, charitable, selfless, faithful, a leader, perfect example, loving etc. we can better understand the way we need to conduct our lives in order to be like Him and return to our Heavenly Father.
