Ruffle Butt Babes

When I was little my mom put me in ruffle bum diaper covers all the time underneath my dresses. To this day I still love them on babies and girls wearing diapers because they are cute, frilly, super girly, and hides the plain looking diaper. Whether your little girl is crawling, starting to walk, or climbing up the stairs, when they wear a dress they are going to be falling down or bending over and need something cute to be hiding that diaper.
These ruffle covers called Ruffle Butts from Oopsie Daisy are exactly what you need to cover your babies diaper.
Oopsie Daisy has different colors you can match with tons of outfits. Whether it be for an occasion, baby pictures, or everyday use these Ruffle Butts are a dressier (and cuter) way to dress your baby. The best part is that the diaper covers are 100% cotton and machine washable. So if you are worried about Ruffle Butts getting dirty you know that it can easily be washed and you don't need to clean it a special way.
These Ruffle Butts with the bows are definitely my favorite. With this kind of outfit below you can definitely see the bow really well. With a longer baby dress that is covered in the back you might not be able to see the bow as well.... so might as well get a few different styles right?!
Here is another Ruffle Butt this time paired with a shirt and some tights underneath. A warmer option for when the weather gets colder, but still super cute, frilly, and of courses super girly.

PB Nursery Bookcase

Check out these cute all-in-one sets from Pottery Barn Kids. Not only are these functional, but super cute if you have the space for your nursery. This is a great focal point for a room that does take up a lot of space, but everything is there from a dresser, book shelves, changing table that might save you room if you have those items as separate pieces of furniture.
This unit also comes in white and the baskets and changing table do come separate, but hey, you can even convert this into a great entertainment center.
Here is the white one in a cute baby girl nursery. How perfect, look at the cute baskets they put in the shelves. They decided to use browns and pinks and equally around this area of the room. This room would be more white if white curtains were used (which is what I would do because I like the clean feel of the white in a nursery). But the pink curtains and rug bring the color and definitely a more feminine feel to this room.

Kayley's Baby Shower

What an amazing baby shower that my friend Kayley had a few weeks ago. I didn't go, but she had some amazing pictures from this event that she let me use
.
She used blues and yellows as her theme. Look how cute these mason jar drinks are. You can buy huge packs of these straws for a great deal and they look so good.
Love all of the banners that she put up everywhere, it looks so so so good and of course keeps with her colors.
This is my favorite picture, look how elegant. All of the decorations just go well with everything.
Look at all of the detail, even the ribbon on the napkins.
These signs in the cupcakes are so cute. Look at the blues and yellows still everywhere. You can buy and make some of these signs. Wherever she got them they are so perfect.
More banners. I like the triangles in the back of "baby Oliver" part of the banner. She could probably even hang this in his room or save parts of it for a birthday sign.
A spot for some games
So cute, I love the theme and how everything turned out. Good work Kayley and family, I'm excited for this baby to come soon!

Dr. Seuss Design

Ever since I was little I have loved Dr. Seuss books. I found these amazing Dr. Seuss themed sheets that look great in these bedrooms. It used a baby blue and red and and is so fun for a little boy. This first picture has the sheets on a dark wooden headboard.
This next one is in a lighter room with a white bed frame. I love the artwork in the back with the red curtains which match the room. I love how Pottery Barn can monogram the pillows to personalize the room.
Here is a close up of some of the sheets. Look how fun with Horton the elephant, Red Fox, the alphabet in the background etc.
You can find Dr. Seuss designs for the nursery as well
Or even for the bathroom with cute towels and shower curtains. What a cute pattern.

Gondola Adventure

For my birthday I really wanted to go on the gondola rides at the Venetian. There was a huge wind that picked up outside so we had to do the rides inside around the shops. It was such a great time, I loved it. Our guide was a crack up and sang to us in beautiful Italian.

We would pass all of the shops and everyone would gather on the bridge to hear our guide sing.
It was so fun, under each bridge Chris and I would kiss because it is good luck.

In front of the Venetian shops.
Before we left town we went to some stores and to the largest Forever 21. I took a picture by the E for Elise of course.

Such a great time!!!!

Baby Box Custom Painted Furniture

Baby Box has amazing custom hand-painted furniture for nurseries and bedrooms. They have a few lines of custom furniture pieces that include armoires, dressers, tables, desks, beds, etc. which can create a unique and specific style that you want to design your child's bedroom. Here are some of my favorites:
For baby cribs I loved these designs that are hand painted. These first two come from the line AFK or Art for Kids who can design and paint any piece to match any color or theme. Look how beautiful these designs are.

These two beds are from Newport Cottages. I love how these beds can look so different in a nursery. I love how this first bed is higher on both ends and I like the stark white color of the second bed with the design detail found on the side of the crib and other matching furniture.

I absolutely think these hand-painted AFK changing tables and armoires on their website are spectacular. You can make them as fun as you want and the designs and colors can be however you would like.

Also, there is furniture you can buy like hand-painted toy chests, shelves, wall art etc. This armoire and nightstand are from the Newport line who also do custom painting and finishing anyway you would like.

Can you believe all of the detail in these designs. There are so many amazing furniture designs through Baby Box and so many possibilities for you to create the perfect bedroom for your child.
