Book I made for Chris for meeting a year ago!

Chris and I met a year ago today!!!

I can't believe it's been that long but its been so great!!! When we met a year ago, Chris was with about 8 of his buddies and I was with one of my girly friends. I thought Chris was so cute and wanted to talk to him and remember us catching glances and having a cute unforgetable moment. When talking to him I remember my first thoughts were he was so kind, funny, good looking, his friends bragged about how smart he was, and I remember him being put together.

When all of us were heading back to our cars, the two cars which the boys were in got TOWED! I ended up driving Chris and his buddy to rescue their cars and Chris got my number before they went home. He asked me out shortly after that and we went with Clint and his date to the new Harry Potter movie that came out. Chris apologizes to this day that that was our first date but I loved it and it JUST had came out.


I've been thinking about all of the times we've had and the many more to come and decided for the "one year" to make a book through Mixbook.com. It's called "Lucky I'm in Love with My Best Friend".. disgustingly cute I know.


The first page has a note to Chris of how much he means to me and how I love him. Dang, sorry about this being fuzzy pics, I was in the car.


So cute! There's pictures througout this year we've dated and love quotes with them.


Mixbook was awesome because you had choices to design your own pages or follow outlines.


They did a great job even if its hard to tell. I loved doing it and we'll prob have it laying out at the wedding.

This coming week anniversaries with Chris

TODAY 7/10: Two months till we're married!!!
TOMORROW 7/11: A year from the first day we met
THURSDAY 7/15: Month since we've been engaged
SATURDAY 7/17: Official for 11 months with Chris

We won't celebrate everything, but I'm remembering all of our amazing times and events that have happened. Love ya Chris!

Found the Dress!!!

Things are coming together so much for my wedding. I know the day, colors, timing, location, pictures, invitations I need to wait till the pictures, cute outfits, the rings and now my dress!

What a huge relief I'm so excited I found it out east I can't wait to wear it!

Four-Wheeling Fun

Four- wheeling with Clint and Chris. Here they are after we drove this side-by-side up some water.



There was a tree in the middle of the stream so we hooked it up to the front of the red four-wheeler and got it out of the way. I loved seeing them get excited to do that.


Chris and I driving the two four-wheelers. It was my first time going on and driving one.



We hiked too and loved the water and mountains all around us.

When we went to Jackson Hole for a few hours to see the shootout at 6pm. It was so neat. Some guy even proposed to one of the characters.

"Funny Girl" Musical 5 years later

One thing you might not know about me is that I've been in a bunch of plays/ musicals throughout the years. My favorite one I was in was "Funny Girl" which I performed in my Junior year of High School.
Our high school productions were crazy and the two ladies who directed the musicals were Broadway stars and the coreographer was professional too. People would tell us every year that ours were even better quality and performance than Broadways because of the level they were put together. It was so much fun.

I wish you could see this. I'm on the left and we learned how to skate for this number. For the play, the first few rows were taken out so there could be a circular ramp around the pit for a bunch of our numbers.

Me performing in "Funny Girl" as a Ziegfield Follies. My headpiece was three feet tall with a large train. We wore high-heels and could not put our arms down or slouch them once during the whole number, dance, song. One time we had to practice this for hours.

Whole view of the stage in the costume above. I had to stand on the very top staircase for the beginning and loved when the curtains opened to see this view as everyone clapped as we walked down the staircase hidden by that plant on the left.

I also learned how to tap dance for a few numbers like here as a sailor on the ramp that I talked about.

Also as a townsperson as we sang and danced. I loved it, such a fun experience

Chris and I went recently to the Scera to watch it.

Families are Together Forever sign

My roommate got married and I decided to put together this sign for her new home. I found this sign at Roberts Craft then used chocolate brown and tan for letters created on my Cricut.

It turned out so cute. The vinyl letters were easy to put on and make the sign look so great. I put the phrase "families are together forever" across their last name.

Registrar: One who registers

So we've registered and I had a blast. I don't know how Chris is doing, I think he secretly enjoyed it, but he was done at the end and just started clicking things with the store's registry tracker thing.
I went online today.. thank goodness, because I had found things he pressed. I died laughing, we were going to get an
electric toothpaste dispenser,
yellow oven mitt,
animal toy: plastic donut,
oh and some electric hair removal like for your nose.

Hahah he knew I was going back but still I think its funny

Things I learned registering:
1) Chris taught me if I don't know what it is we can't register for it.. happened often.
2) Think realistically the quantity that you need. I wanted to apply for 4 sets of 20 utensils... on top of this other set we registered for.. no way.
3) Register for things we need: I loved EVERYTHING BYU and some other pink cute stuff but those aren't practical or can last as long.
4) Don't register for the 'stuff'... like things you don't need or things that you should buy. I wanted to register for trash cans and stuff but Chris said no.
5) Don't register for things you don't like: I didn't like any of the bed sheets So... we didn't register for any there
6) Keep everyone's budget in mind. Just because you can register for something $400 doesn't mean you should. My roommate told me to make sure there's an average pricing (which is up to the couple)among the registering items.
